DFM Engagement Editors Gather to Learn and Share Skills

Editors from Digital First Media newspapers across Pennsylvania and New Jersey are coming together today in West Chester, Penn., to deepen their knowledge of community engagement. The workshop, hosted by Steve Buttry, will cover a wide range of tools and techniques for both digital and face-to-face reader interaction.

The workshop has a very tight agenda, with more than 18 rapid-fire sessions over the course of the afternoon. Subjects range from further developing community media labs to using new digital tools, such as New Hive and Geofeedia.

The workshop will be broadcast live on Ustream starting this afternoon at 12:45 p.m. (ET). Watch the stream and see a full schedule of events below.
